Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has rejected suggestions the opposition's leadership reshuffle has contributed to Queenslanders losing faith in her.

A Galaxy poll of 1176 voters, published in The Sunday Mail, shows 44 per cent still prefer Ms Palaszczuk as premier, compared to 29 per cent backing new Opposition Leader Tim Nicholls and 27 per cent uncommitted.

Although she's still on top, her rating has fallen 10 percentage points since a similar Galaxy poll in November last year.

Ms Palaszczuk was asked on Sunday whether the Liberal National Party's switch from Lawrence Springborg to Mr Nicholls as leader contributed to her decline in popularity.

"Not at all," she said.

"We're focused on delivering jobs - the LNP are focused on their own jobs."

Despite dismissing the poll, it might have got to the premier, given her dig at the newspaper when asked about the result.

"They've been running a Fair Go campaign recently and perhaps they can give the Labor government a fair go," she said.
