Qld police wrap up Black Uhlans operation

Queensland Police have wrapped up a 12-month operation targeting members of the Black Uhlans motorcycle gang on the Gold Coast, following a string of arrests.

Operation North Hardwood ended with a string of raids on April 20 and 29, which resulted in 17 people being charged with 97 offences.

Police seized ten firearms, including a semi-automatic shotgun and handguns during the operation, along with 16 litres of the drug GHB and 750 grams of ice as well as small amounts of heroin, cocaine and steroids.
