Qld police threatened with knife

A man's been charged after allegedly threatening police with a knife following the theft of a vehicle in Queensland's Moreton Bay Region.

Officers confronted the 27-year-old man at a club in Arana Hills on Monday afternoon, hoping to speak to him about a vehicle which had allegedly been stolen from a home in Ferny Hills.

He threatened officers with a knife before being arrested, police said.

He'll front court on Tuesday after being charged with burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, serious assault police whilst armed and possession of a knife in a public place.
