Qld police snip bandit armed with scissors

A man has been charged with trying to rob a Queensland convenience store armed with a pair of scissors.
A staff member suffered minor scratches and a customer who tried to help the worker was assaulted during the attempted hold-up at Maryborough on Tuesday afternoon.
An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted armed robbery, assault and stealing and will face the Maryborough Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
