Qld police hunt missing, injured man

A man who was shot during a fight in north Queensland is missing and in need of medical help.

Police say they were called to Townsville's Railway Estate at about 10.30pm on Sunday after residents reported hearing gunshots from inside an apartment.

Officers were told 27-year-old Craig Fleming was wounded during the disturbance but had fled.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact police or the Queensland Ambulance Service.

Mr Fleming is described as Caucasian, about 180cm tall with a thin build, blonde hair, blue eyes and heavily tattooed.

Three men are being interviewed by police.
