A man who is believed to have been drinking when he detonated a homemade explosive device on a vacant block south of Brisbane will face court.
The explosion, around 10pm on Tuesday at Mount Cotton, was heard by neighbours who reported debris falling on their roof, police say.
The 20-year-old man will face Cleveland Magistrates Court on June 2 on three charges including dangerous conduct with a weapon.
