Three cop cars rammed in Qld in two days
Three Queensland police cars have been rammed by hostile young drivers allegedly trying avoid arrest in the past two days.
The most recent incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday with a man accused of accelerating towards officers as they tried to intercept him in Hemmant.
The 21-year-old then tried to use his vehicle to shove their police car out of the way after making first contact.
The ramming comes after a 23-year-old collided with two police cars in Springwood on Monday night.
That driver allegedly hit the vehicles while making a frantic attempt to escape officers called to the complex on another matter.
He's accused of accelerating out of the driveway, smashing into the two cars before being arrested and charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, wilful damage and possessing dangerous drugs.
The younger man from Tuesday's incident has also been charged with driving offences and was expected to face Wynnum Magistrates Court later in the day.
