Qld man charged with attempted murder

A 25-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Brisbane last year.

Wayne Dean spent several days in an induced coma after being shot by two attackers at a caravan park in Sunnybank Hills in the early hours of October 17.

Police on Tuesday charged an Underwood man with a string of offences, including attempted murder, deprivation of liberty, possession of a shortened firearm and attempted armed robbery.

He will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
