Qld man, 77, hit by car dies in hospital

An elderly man hit by a car in Brisbane's west last week has died in hospital.
The 77-year-old was struck at around 7pm on June 19 on the corner of Frangipani and Laburnum streets in Inala.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious head injuries, but police confirmed on Monday he had died on Sunday afternoon.

Pictures of the man's belongings were released following the crash in an attempt the identify the Inala resident, who had no ID on him at the time of the incident.
He was eventually identified by the serial number on his hearing aid.
Queensland police are continuing its investigation into the crash.
