Qld man, 20, charged over one-punch attack

A 20-year-old Queensland man has been charged for allegedly attacking another man at a busy Gold Coast fast food outlet.
Police allege the man punched the 39-year-old victim in the head, causing him to hit his head as he fell to the ground in the bustling Cavill Avenue outlet about 5am on Saturday.
The older man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment while the 20-year-old will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on one count of assault occasioning bodily harm later this month.
