Qld LNP review is warts and all: McIver

The Liberal National Party insists all party figures, not just former Queensland premier Campbell Newman, must share blame for its 2015 election loss after the release of an internal report.

A "warts and all" review by former premier Rob Borbidge and Joan Sheldon has blamed hubris, a false sense of security, leadership issues, arrogance and the alienation of interest groups for the party's state election loss.

"We're not into the blame game here, I think we all have to take a share of the responsibility, from the campaign director ... to the leadership, and right across the board," LNP president Bruce McIver said on Friday afternoon.
