Qld govt pledges $200m infrastructure fund
AAP
The Queensland government will invest $200 million into regional infrastructure projects over two years.
The money, which it says will support around 600 jobs, will be made available through four separate funds, with councils able to apply for project funding of up to $5 million.
"We want local governments to come to us with projects that will be catalysts in their communities for economic growth and local jobs," state development Minister Dr Anthony Lynham said.
