Qld govt pledges $200m for road upgrade
AAP
Queensland's government has pledged $200 million to help ease congestion on one of the state's busiest motorways and wants the Commonwealth to match it.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says funding for the Ipswich Motorway has been brought forward from the June budget because it was a badly-needed project that would create jobs.
"It is up to (Prime Minister) Malcolm Turnbull to come to the party," she said on Wednesday.
