Qld govt launches $28.5m research fund

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced a $28.5 million program to fund research in Queensland.
Ms Palaszczuk says applications are open for the Advance Queensland Research Fellowships, which will be funded over three years.
"The fellowships will help consolidate and improve on Queensland's world-class reputation for research excellence," Ms Palaszczuk told the Queensland Futures Summit in Brisbane.
