Qld detectives search for missing man, 85

An 85-year-old far north Queensland man has gone missing from a Kuranda home.

Robert Dods was last seen when he was dropped off at a property on Myola Road at 11am on Monday, but hasn't made contact with any family members or friends since.

Police will recommence a search on Tuesday morning but say they have concerns for his welfare because he has a condition that requires medication.
