Qld cop stood down, investigated

A police officer has been stood down over allegations he used excessive force, falsified training records and wilfully damaged a police vehicle.

Queensland police say they're currently investigating the allegations.

However, they stressed the decision to stand down the 39-year-old, who serves in the state's southeast, did not mean any of the allegations had been proven.
