Police seek man on Gold Coast

Police are on the hunt for a potentially armed man after an alleged domestic dispute in the southern Gold Coast suburb of Burleigh Waters.

Darren Windeatt is accused of threatening a 43-year-old woman and a five-year-old girl that he knows at a unit on Bottlewood Circuit on Sunday afternoon, though neither were physically harmed in the incident.

Windeatt, 48, is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall with a proportionate build, brown hair, hazel eyes and a beard.

Police believe he may be armed and are urging the public to contact them if they have information about his whereabouts.
