Police hunt who dumped man's body in sewer

Detectives are still hunting for whoever is behind the death of a man whose body was found in a Brisbane sewer.

They have asked for dash cam and CCTV footage from Granada and Street and Charlotte Street in the bayside suburb of Wynnum, where Jason Guise was last seen on April 21.

He was last seen visiting a food truck on Charlotte Street early that evening.

Workers were doing a routine check of a tank at the Queensland Urban Utilities sewage pump station on nearby Granada Street on Wednesday when they found the 45-year-old's remains.

Police are investigating his death as a homicide.
