Three missing Qld children safe and well

Three children taken from Queensland homes in two separate incidents have been found safe.

The children, aged 17 months, four and eight, were located by police after being taken on Sunday.

Police say a man known to the 17-month-old girl went to a home near Logan on Sunday afternoon and left with the child shortly afterwards.

The girl was located with family around 1pm on Monday, but police are still searching for the 35-year-old transient man who took her from the Boronia Heights home.

Officers were also hunting for a 30-year-old woman who took two children near Toowoomba on Sunday, and was believed to have fled to NSW.

Police located the woman and the children on Monday about 1:30pm.
