Outback Qld treasurer charged with fraud

The treasurer of a community group in outback Queensland has been charged with defrauding the organisation over the period of three years.
The 39-year-old woman has been charged with five counts of fraud, forgery and uttering by Longreach police following a protracted investigation.
Police allege that between December 2012 and September 2015, the woman committed the offences while she worked as treasurer for the organisation in Jericho.

She is due to appear in the Sarina Magistrates Court on February 20.
