Murder charge after Queensland stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after another man was found stabbed to death on the footpath in north Queensland.

Emergency services were called to reports of an assault in Hermit Park on Sunday evening, and found a 37-year-old man collapsed and not breathing. He died at the scene.

A 20-year-old Railway Estate man has been charged with murder and is due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
