Motorcyclist's arm ripped off in Qld crash

A motorcyclist has had part of his armed ripped off in a head-on collision with a truck on a highway in southeast Queensland.

The 53-year-old lost his right arm below the elbow and suffered leg injuries in the crash, which happened on the Cunningham Highway at Mutdapilly, near Ipswich, just after 10am on Tuesday.

He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
