A fatal motorcycle crash is causing major traffic congestion north of Brisbane.
A man died after his motorcycle crashed on the Gateway Motorway near Bald Hills around 11.25am on Sunday, prompting the closure of southbound lanes on the motorway from the Bruce Highway.
Holidaymakers on the Sunshine Coast wanting to return to Brisbane have been urged to consider delaying their trip.
