Motorcyclist dies in Gold Coast hinterland

A man has died during a motorcycle crash in the Gold Coast hinterland.

The rider was travelling near Natural Bridge in the Numinbah Forest Reserve yesterday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed off the road.

The 47-year-old Newmarket man was found dead at the scene.

The death comes a day after a Logan man died after crashing his miniature motorcyle.

The 29-year-old man, who was not wearing a helmet, struck his head on a tree after being thrown from the bike.
