Missing Rockhampton man found beside creek

Human remains found on the edge of a central Queensland creek have been identified as a man who had been reported missing 10 days earlier.

Police say they're treating the death of Rockhampton man Syeid Alam, 33, as suspicious after his remains were found near a creek that runs off the Fitzroy River on Saturday.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Alam or his black Toyota Grande, with registration plates CMA 04C, are asked to contact police.
