Manhunt in Qld after brothers shot, bashed

Three men remain on the run after a man was shot in the jaw and his brother bashed with a hamner on the Gold Coast.

A Robina home remains a crime scene after a violent home invasion on Sunday.

The two brothers, aged in their 20s, are recovering in hospital after one was shot and the other clubbed on the back of the head with the hammer.

Detectives are still hunting for the three attackers, who fled in a small black car.
