Man on trial for crossbow attempted murder

A man charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting a man in the chest and arm with a crossbow is due to face trial in Brisbane on Tuesday.
Jay Paul Shingles allegedly shot the 40-year-old man in January 2016, leaving him with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Shingles is due to stand trial for four days in the Brisbane Supreme Court, with the Crown expected to open its case on Tuesday.
