Man stabbed in inner Brisbane

A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man suffered serious stabbing injuries to his chest, neck and abdomen in inner Brisbane.

Police were called to a Herston address at about 2.15pm on Sunday to find the seriously injured 51-year-old man who was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital.

A 37-year-old man taken into custody at the scene was charged with one count of attempted murder and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
