Man punched, robbed, ditched in Qld: cops

A man has been punched, robbed and abandoned on the side of a road near Ipswich, police say.

The man was at a hotel in Redbank Plains on Friday night when he accepted a lift from three other men, who took him to a different location and assaulted him.

The trio have each been charged with robbery with violence while their alleged victim was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment for facial injuries.
