Man killed in single-vehicle accident

A 31-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Coast.

Preliminary investigations suggest that, at about 11.15pm on Saturday, the car lost control and crashed into trees, causing the vehicle to roll a number of times.

The man was a passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene, while the driver, a 23-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Kawana Hospital for treatment.
