Man in Qld hospital after one-punch attack

A man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a one punch attack at a bar on Queensland's Whitsunday Coast.

The 28-year-old was taken to Proserpine Hospital after he was knocked unconscious to the floor during a fight with another man at the Airlie Beach bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police are on the hunt for the man and investigations are continuing.
