Man glassed in Gold Coast dancing row

A man has been accused of hitting another man in the face with a glass in a Gold Coast venue, leaving him with a 10cm-long cut.
The 21-year-old attacked the 34-year-old in a Coolangatta premises at about 1am on Saturday, after the older man asked a woman dancing with the younger man to stop bumping into him, police say.
The older man from Kooralbyn has been taken to hospital with serious face and ear injuries, while the 21-year-old man from Tweed Heads has been charged with grievous bodily harm and will face court on Saturday.
