Man found with gun after Gold Coast crash

A man has allegedly been caught with a loaded gun, shotgun cartridges, drugs and cash after crashing a car stolen car and fleeing on the Gold Coast.

Three people sustained minor injuries when the 30-year-old from Cairns North collided with another car in Parkwood on Tuesday night.

He was followed by a member of the public and police, before being arrested and hospitalised over an unrelated medical condition.
