Man found dead after Brisbane unit fire

A 93-year-old man has been found dead inside a unit following a fire in inner Brisbane.

Police were called to a unit complex at Highgate Hill about 5.30pm (AEST) on Monday where they found one of the units on fire.

The blaze was brought under control and the man was found dead inside the unit.

Investigations into the cause of the fire continue.
