Man faces court for allegedly raping a mum

A man will front Maroochydore Magistrates court on Thursday over the alleged rape of a mother while she was home with her children on the Sunshine Coast.
The 26-year-old man is facing seven charges including deprivation of liberty, rape, threatening violence and possessing explosives for the alleged sexual assault at Beerwah on August 5.
Police say the Wamuran man was charged on Wednesday and subsequently denied bail.
