Man charged with sex assault in Brisbane

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman in a shop in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley.

Police say the attack happened on the afternoon of February 7 after the 30-year-old man entered the store and spoke to the woman.

After receiving information from members of the public, police arrested the man on Monday afternoon and charged him with three offences related to the alleged sexual assault.

He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 7.
