Second man charged over Cairns death

A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a dead body on a far north Queensland footpath.
The body of a 27-year-old man was found at the intersection of Spence and Taylor streets in the Cairns suburb of Parramatta Park in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police initially charged a 21-year-old man on Saturday with one count of accessory after the fact to murder.

Later on Saturday they charged a 19-year-old White Rock man with murder.
He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 2.
