Man charged over alleged Gold Coast shooting
A man has been charged over an alleged noise dispute between neighbours on the Gold Coast which ended with a father and son being stabbed and another son shot.
Michael Barnes, 30, was arrested at Palm Meadows yesterday.
Police allege events began at 2am on Monday when a row between a man and a woman began inside a unit on Peninsula Drive at Surfers Paradise.

A fight began when neighbours went to speak with them, and police were called.
Officers found a 44-year-old father with stab wounds to his leg, neck and head.
His 21-year-old son had two gunshot wounds to his stomach, while another 23-year-old son sustained minor cuts.
Barnes faces a string of charges, including grievous bodily harm, dangerous operation of a vehicle and dangerous conduct with a weapon.
He is due to appear in court today.
