Boy, 3, dies following weekend car crash

A three-year-old boy has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in central Queensland on Sunday.

The Dalby boy was taken to hospital with critical injuries after the two vehicle crash at Bouldercombe, in the Rockhampton region.

A 25-year-old woman remains in Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

The boy's death comes less than 24 hours after a 44-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a car at Kallangur, north of Brisbane.

The driver of the car in Monday afternoon's crash has been charged with offences including the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, failing to perform duties and unlicensed driving.
