Man captured after escaping Qld court

An alleged drug offender left authorities scrambling when he jumped from the dock of a Queensland court and fled.
The 23-year-old was unrestrained but under the watch of an escorting officer when he escaped from the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon.
Police found him a nearby street half an hour later. He'll front the same court on Friday, charged with escaping lawful custody.
