Man armed with hammer robs Qld bank

An armed man is on the run after robbing an inner Brisbane bank while brandishing a hammer.

It's believed the man entered the Commonwealth Bank branch in Spring Hill just before 4pm.

Customers were in the branch at the time and one was treated by paramedics but wasn't seriously injured.

Police say the man fled with a sum of cash.
