Man allegedly injures two in crash

A driver has been charged with seriously injuring two women after smashing into their parked car in Brisbane.

Police say the 26-year-old Margate man hit a traffic island before colliding with the car at Chermside on Thursday afternoon.

He is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm.
