Prominent Australian looksmaxxing influencer Androgenic arrested during live stream
An Australian influencer known in the online looksmaxxing community was arrested during a live stream in Brisbane last weekend.
The influencer, known online as "Androgenic", 25, was live-streaming on Kick in Fortitude Valley on Saturday night, when he was approached by several Queensland Police officers.
He was informed that he was being arrested for an incident in late February, though the exact date was later clarified as being earlier this month.

"There was a bit of an incident up at Hungry Jack's… So basically, based on that, I'm gonna place you under arrest in relation to that for public nuisance," one of the officers informed him.
The police officers then asked the man's security to move away from the influencer as he was escorted to Fortitude Valley Police Station.
The stream came to an end when Androgenic reached the police station and was being searched, having been asked to put his hands up against the wall.
"The situation's f***ed, guys, the situation is f***ed," his cameraman is heard saying.
"He is being arrested overnight tonight, and he'll be released in the morning."

Queensland Police confirmed the arrest had been made in relation to an incident on April 18.
"A 25-year-old St Lucia man was subsequently issued with an infringement notice for public nuisance," a statement said.
"He was also served with a banning notice from the safe night precinct of Fortitude Valley and Brisbane City for one month."
Androgenic has over 206,000 followers on TikTok, and has been known to promote looksmaxxing, a trend where young boys and men are encouraged to maximise their physical appearance, often with bizarre practices such as tapping facial bones with hammers.

Dr Diana Kennedy, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Mater Private Hospital in Brisbane said the science behind the trend was incorrect, and people could face long-term damage from engaging in it.
"Repeated trauma to the face with a hammer or blunt object can cause soft tissue swelling, and bony microfractures, but this does not translate to improved appearance," she said.
"This harmful and dangerous trend is based on gross misinformation born from the toxic masculinity movement.
Androgenic was present when fellow well-known looksmaxxer Clavicular collapsed during a livestream after a suspected drug overdose.
