LNP claws back support in Qld

Queensland's Liberal National Party has clawed back some support among voters but still trails Labor, according to a new poll.

A Newspoll commissioned by The Australian newspaper indicates 39 per cent of Queensland voters would choose the LNP if an election was held today, compared with 41 per cent who would select Labor.

Support for the LNP rose by one percentage point since a similar poll was held over August-September, while Labor's popularity remained unchanged.
