LNP avoids Gordon apology
AAP
The Liberal National Party won't apologise to Queensland crossbencher MP Billy Gordon after he was exonerated of allegations of domestic violence.
The LNP publicly hounded the Labor government about the allegations against the Cook MP earlier this year, but Deputy Opposition Leader John-Paul Langbroek sidestepped questions about whether he deserved an apology the day after Mr Gordon was cleared by police.
"As we can see today there are further issues involving this particular Member of Parliament and that's why I think it's inappropriate to make any further comment," Mr Langbroek said on Friday.
