Jury breaks to rule on Qld murder case

A Brisbane jury has broken to consider whether it will convict a man of the stabbing murder of Michael Peter Klaassen.

Lawrence Keith Carlton has pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Klaassen, whose body was found buried at Logan Reserve in September 2013 - more than a month after he was reported missing.

The Brisbane Supreme Court jury were sent to deliberate late on Monday afternoon, following final instructions by Justice James Douglas.
