Grantham flood inquiry begins
AAP
A new inquiry into the deadly Queensland floods that hit the Lockyer Valley in 2011 begins on Monday.
The probe, which is expected to run until August, will explore the circumstances that caused a wall of water to hit Grantham, killing 12 people.
One of the key focuses will be whether a breach in the nearby quarry made the flooding worse.
