Man airlifted to hospital after getting trapped under grain silo in Queensland

A man in his 30s has suffered "significant" leg injuries after getting trapped by grain under a silo in Queensland.

Ambulance paramedics and a rescue helicopter rushed to Arcturus, which is more than three hours inland from Yeppoon, at 9.15am local time (10.15am AEDT).

The man was trapped in the grain by his legs, Queensland Ambulance said.

Paramedics worked to free him from the grain before he was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
