Govt to review speed on deadly Qld road
AAP
A speed review will be conducted on a deadly stretch of road near the Sunshine Coast, the state government says.
It comes less than a week after 26-year-old Jasmine Fielden died in a head-on collision on Yandina Coolum Road, sparking fresh calls from the community to review the 11km stretch.
Road Safety Minister Mark Bailey said the investigation was warranted as two people had died, and 14 injured, on the 100km/h section of road since 2010.
