Five charged over out-of-control Qld party

Police have charged five people after shutting down an out-of-control party at Toowoomba, west of Brisbane.

Party organisers had registered Saturday night's event in Harlaxton with police, but officers moved in after about 200 people showed up.

Multiple police units were called to bring the party under control and five people, aged 16 to 35, are facing charges including public nuisance, drug possession, and obstructing police.
